Bailey Graffman (April 23, 1993 - August 28, 2005) is the 12-year-old that Tibby meets in The first Sisterhood pants book. She's a fun and mature 12 year old.
In the first novel, Tibby met Bailey when she passed out in the store where Tibby worked. Bailey then brought one of Tibby's packages to her house because they were misplaced and she convinces Bailey to let her be her assistant. One day Tibby goes to Bailey's house and finds out that she has leukemia, since then she treats her differently and visits her at the hospital. Bailey dies in bed next to Tibby.
Bailey always had a talent for seeing people as they truly are, not as they appear and that's what made her special. She could see someone’s hidden pain or their silent desires. She shows Tibby what an idiot the guys she has a crush on is, even when Tibby sees him differently. She was a very forgiving person as well and when Tibby feels bad about not seeing everyone the way she doesn't, Bailey says “What matters is that you always change your mind.”
